God is Your True Source

God is your true source

God is your true source of everything we’ll ever need or want. Including finances. Even if it comes through people, God is still the source. God uses people and opportunities as His chosen channels to provide for you.

Sometimes people get confused about the source of their finances. If we receive a paycheck, we might think our source is our job. But our job is a means God uses to get finances into your hands.

If you’re an entrepreneur, it might be tempted to think that clients are your source of income. But, again, your clients and your business are simply channels.

God is your true source.

Psalm 16:2 says, “and I have said, “Only you are my Lord! Every good thing I have is a gift from you.” Acknowledging God as our provider demonstrates our faith in Him to provide for us. Faith opens the door to receiving more blessings.

But let’s be honest, standing in faith and believing God for our needs is not always easy. Especially with rising gas prices and escalated inflation rates. The enemy of your soul conspires to overwhelm you with lies, hoping you’ll doubt God. But we must be diligent to know the truth by seeking the word of God so we can stand firmly in faith, trusting that His promises will come to pass even in a tight economy. Yes, even in a recession.

God is not a man, that he might lie, or a son of man, that he might change his mind. Does he speak and not act, or promise and not fulfill?” Numbers 23:19 (CSB)
